Welcome to Harmony Learning Center!
Harmony Learning Center is home to a variety of programs for people of all ages - from an alternative high school to adults learning English as a second language. Learn more about our programs by clicking on the links at left.
Harmony High School - This is a full-time day program serving high school students, ages 16 to 20, in an alternative learning environment. This is a referral-based program.
Credit Recovery - This is a year-round program designed to assist students in making up credits required for graduation. This is a referral-based program.
Targeted Services - This program is designed for students in kindergarten through eighth grade at all elementary and middle school buildings in District 622. It targets at-risk students for before- and after-school activities.
Adult Basic Education:
- GED Program - This program prepares students for the GED exams. On a regular basis, the GED exams are given on-site. The program is open to our community and is an evening program.
- Family Learning Center (FLC) - This program serves mothers in our community by teaching life skills and preparation for GED exams. Daycare is provided and parenting classes are part of the curriculum.
- Adult ESL - English-as-a-Second-Language classes are free classes for foreign-born adults. Come join our community of Adult English learners in a comfortable, friendly environment. Both day and evening ESL classes available.
- Adult Brush-Up - Individualized education opportunities for adults, including college entrance exam prep and learning how to balance a checkbook.
Citizenship - Assisting adults in obtaining U.S. citizenship.
